Shaylee

Shaylee was brought to us by the forestry department following a traffic accident and in a very bad state. We were almost certain she would need to be euthanized. As well as her other injuries, she was totally blind after a blow to her head. Although totally wild, she started to take food, so we managed to arrange for her to go to a human hospital for a brain scan to assess her chances; these facilities are not available for animals here. As a result of the scan the doctors felt optimistic and we were advised her sight could return within a few days. This is exactly what happened and now she is healthy and friendly and lives with the other young Langur rescues.
