Another rescued baby bought in, whose mother had died in a traffic accident. Langurs are driven in to towns by humans who are cutting down the forests; they go looking for food etc, and do not understand how to safely cross roads, of course.
Finn was able to go straight on to the correct formula milk, which he readily took, but had been injured himself in the accident. A check with the vets showed no broken bones, but he had little use of his back legs for some time, dragging himself about, until feeling and control returned.
Unlike the other babies, Finn never learned to suck his thumb, but like some human toddlers, always needs his “comforter blanket” nearby, and will not ever go to sleep, unless he is able to cuddle and suck it !
Finn is now doing well, and lives with the other youngsters from 2019
