At The Tree House since January 2013A tortoise and white kitten with a stumpy tail. She was simply left behind when her uncaring owners moved and was spotted sitting outside the empty house crying for attention by our local ‘animal man’ Milton, and brought to the tree house. We called her ‘Rita’ after his mother.
How to sponsor a cat –
It’s simple! You can sponsor one of our cats from only £5.00 per month. Choose the cat you would like to sponsor, and then choose the amount you would like to sponsor per month(remember that the minimum amount is £5 per month). Then fill in the form below and make the payment on the page that follows.
What do I receive in return? – You will initially receive an adoption certificate, with your name and a picture of your chosen cat. Then 3 times per year (April, August, December) you will receive photos and up to date information about life at the Tree House and what your chosen cat has been up to. All correspondence will be by email.
The Primate Trust was founded by Jo and John Hicks (the same founders of IAR) it provides long term care to orphaned, abused and injured primates. This work is essential due to the loss of natural habitat, human conflict causing an increasing number of injured and orphaned monkeys. Other monkeys are rescued for being illegally kept as pets and for begging, often in appalling conditions.
